Islam and mass immigration in the Light of Scripture

Across the Western world Christians and patriots are worried about mass immigration, and in particular the mass immigration of Muslims.

They ask themselves: How can it be stopped? In order to answer that question, we need to know the root cause of why it is happening. Is it because of the influence from Marxists and Leftists? Is it because of the influence of the globalist elites? Or is it because many of the Muslims themselves want to move to the West? Or is it a combination of them all? On a political and superficial level, it no doubt is.

But, in fact, on a spiritual level, the root cause of Muslim and other mass immigration into the West is that the peoples of the West have fallen away from Christ. God has permitted this to take place in order to chastise us, and the only durable solution is to repent and return to following the Lord Jesus Christ.

God actively blesses and chastises His people

The reader of the Bible will know that sometimes God is actually intervening in world affairs in order to bless or chastise His people, depending upon whether God’s people follow Him or not. This was true in the time of the Old Testament, and this is also true today.

In the time of the Judges, the God of Israel let pagan nations rule over Israel when the Israelites fell away from the God of Israel and worshipped pagan gods. On the other hand, when Israel followed the God of Israel and stopped following false gods, God would let Israel have independence and dominion over other nations. This was true in the time of the Old Testament, and this is still true today.

In the Book of Judges, we read that every time Israel fell away from God, He gave pagan nations have dominion over the Israelites. For example: “And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves. Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushan-rishathaim eight years.” (Judg 3:7-8)

And again: “And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead. And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.” (Judg 4:1-2)

When Saul became king over the 12 Tribes of Israel, Saul only followed the God of Israel half-heartedly, and, therefore, the God of Israel let the Philistines have the dominion over Israel and kill Saul and his three sons.

King David, on the other hand, followed the God of Israel with a perfect heart, and, therefore, God let Israel have independence from the Philistines and even have the dominion over many of the neighboring pagan nations (see 2 Samuel 8:1-14)

When Solomon became king, he started out by also following the God of Israel with a perfect heart, and Israel was blessed with prosperity, peace and the wisdom of Solomon for it. But when Solomon got old, his numerous pagan wives seduced him into erecting pagan temples for their pagan gods. For this reason, God let 10 of the northern Israelite tribes secede from Solomon’s royal house in Jerusalem, but only after Solomon’s death.

The historical books of the Old Testament, including the books of Samuel, Kings and Chronicles, are not only historical books. They are also religious teachings of how God blesses His people when they follow Him, and how God chastises His people when they fall away from Him.

This was true in the time of the Old Testament, and this is also true today.

The 12 Tribes of Israel today

This brings us to the situation of the Western world today.

The 10 Tribes of Israel that seceded from Solomon’s royal house continued in idolatry, and the God of Israel eventually punished them by letting the Assyrian Empire invade their Kingdom of Israel and deport almost all of the 10 Tribes of Israel to northern areas of the Assyrian Empire. This took place around 721 BC:

“Then the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria, and besieged it three years. In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes. For so it was, that the children of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, which had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and had feared other gods, And walked in the statutes of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made. … Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only.” (2 Kings 17:5-8, 18)

In their exile, the 10 Tribes of Israel vanished out of the Assyrian Empire and became known as the Lost 10 Tribes of Israel. Numerous people have, however, traced migrations of the 10 Tribes of Israel and concluded that they ended up in Europe, where their descendants many centuries later formed the nations of north-western Europe, and later the overseas nations descended from them, including the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Afrikaners of South Africa.

The fact that the 10 Tribes of Israel today are found among Western European peoples means that, just like the God of Israel blessed and chastised Israel during the time of the Old Testament, so does the God of Israel bless and chastise the descendants of the Israelites – i.e. white European Westerners - today.

God’s relationship with Israel, past and present

Just like ancient Israel of the Old Testament, the history of the Western world is closely connected with their relationship with the God of the Bible. Immediately after the descendants of the Israelites in north-western Europe broke away from the spiritual bondage of papal Rome during the Reformation in the early 16^th century, the nations of north-western Europe started to create colonies across the world and to have the dominion over pagan nations. England, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Belgium created colonial empires across North America, South America, Africa, Asia and Oceania, and some of these nations also let colonists settle, which created entirely new nations in their own right, such as the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Afrikaners.

Israel was blessed by God to have dominion over other nations, and this is, indeed, what the descendants of the Israelites in Europe have done, just like the ancient Israelites of the Old Testament did. These colonial empires were, generally speaking, a force of good, because they were blessed by the God of the Bible and because they spread the Gospel and, generally speaking, improved the living conditions of the subjected peoples. But they were, obviously, not flawless, because slavery also prevailed until Christians of the same European nations got slavery abolished.

The Davidic, Solomonic and Rehoboamic Eras fulfilled in prophecy

The era of the European colonial empires is similar to the reign of King David, where Israel had the dominion over many of its pagan neighboring nations, but where King David sometimes also treated other people unfairly. For example, when David had slept with Bethsheba the wife Urijah the Hittite, and then killed Urijah so he could make Bathsheba another of his numerous wives.

While the era of European colonial empires from the Reformation until World War II is similar to the reign of King David, the reign of King Solomon is similar to the present post-WWII era until today. The beginning of King Solomon’s reign was marked by loyalty to the God of Israel, peace, prosperity and an increase of wisdom. Likewise, the post-WWII era of the Western world has been characterized by domestic peace, an unprecedented level of prosperity among the common people, and an explosion in secular knowledge. This is very similar to the first half of Solomon’s reign, and the present post-WWII can, therefore, be called a Solomonic Era.

But Solomon’s reign did not end well. Solomon had a total of 1000 wives and concubines, and his pagan wives seduced Solomon into erecting pagan temples across Israel.

This is, again, similar to the present Western world in which we live. Until the 1980s, almost all religious temples across the Western world were Christian churches, with the exception of a Jewish synagogue here and there. That changed, however, with the mass immigration of Muslims into Western Europe. Since the 1980s the number of pagan temples, including mosques, have exploded, while the number of churches has been in steady decline. Likewise, in public life in Western Europe it used to advantageous to one’s career to stand up as a Christian, but for the last decades politicians and public figures have shunned Christianity.

An important detail in the latter reign of King Solomon is that, after the visit of the Queen of Sheba, it is recorded that 666 talents of gold were brought to Israel. The number 666 is, of course, infamously known as the Number of the Beast. The number 666 is only mentioned four times in the Bible. One time in connection with the Antichrist (Rev 13:18), and two times in connection with the talents of gold brought to Israel during Solomon’s reign after the visit of the Queen of Sheba (1 Kings 10:14 and 2 Chron 9:13, and one time in connection with the return of the Jewish elite from Babylon (Ezra 2:13).

The fact that the number 666 is mentioned at the end of Solomon’s reign – which is comparable to the end of our present post-WWII era – means that some kind of foreshadow of the Number of the Beast is also going to appear before the dissolution of the present nation states of the world and the future formation of a One World Government, but that this foreshadow of the Number of the Beast is not going to be the Number of the Beast itself. The Number of the Beast is only going to be introduced to the world after the destruction of the present nation states of the world and the formation of a future One World Government.

Just like the Colonial Age can be compared with the reign of David, and the present post-WWII Era can be compared with the reign of Solomon, likewise the formation of a future One World Government can be compared with the death of Solomon and the reign of his son King Rehoboam.

The meaning of the Hebrew name Rehoboam even means ‘bringing the people together’, even though exactly the opposite happened during the reign of the historical Rehoboam. This shows that Rehoboam’s reign is also prophetic.

Cultural ‘Christians’

In connection with the decline of Christianity in the West, it must be mentioned that in the wake of Islam’s increased public presence, many Westerners, including public figures, have started to identify as ‘Cultural Christians’, i.e. that they are sympathetic to Christian culture and religion even though they do not believe in Christ Himself being the Messiah, the Son of God. This is a step in the right direction, but it is not enough. God wants people to acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of God, and to follow Him wholeheartedly.

Not only do the historical books of the Bible teach us that God will bless His people when they follow Him and chastise them when they fall away from them. But shortly before his death, Moses told Israel in details how God would bless them when they followed Him and how He would chastise them when they fell away from Him. You can read about these blessings and curses in Deuteronomy chapter 28.

In Deuteronomy, Moses told Israel that when they followed the God of Israel, they would become the head and the pagan nations would become the tail. In other words, Israel would become the ruler and the nations would become the ruled. But Moses also told Israel, that when they fell away from the God of Israel, Israel would become the tail and the nations would become the head:

“The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. … And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:” (Deu 28:7, 13)

This has very literally become fulfilled in the nations of north-western Europe and their daughter nation across the world, including the United States. When they remained faithful to Christ, they had the dominion over the nations of the world. They did not have the dominion over the nations of the world in an absolutely morally perfect way, but they did have the dominion. But when they fell away from Christ, they lost the dominion of the nations.

Today, the United States is the greatest nation primarily of north-western European ancestry, and even though the U.S. is more God-fearing compared to Western Europe, Christianity and the fear of God has also been in a steady decline in the U.S. And just like Moses warned Israel, the United States is losing influence in world. The U.S. has been a superpower since the end of World War II in 1945, and the only superpower since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. But China is now also a superpower and will soon become more powerful militarily than the U.S., unless China is defeated.

Since the end of World War II, Christianity has been in constant decline in the public life of the Western world. And just like Israel in the days of the Judges, God has let pagan nations have increasing influence over the descendants of the ancient Israelites.

This has in particular come true in the mass immigration of Muslims into Western Europe, and to a lesser extent to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. In the days of the Judges, God let Midianites and other pagan nations have dominion over Israel because Israel did not follow Him. Today, the God of Israel has allowed Muslims and other non-Christian people have at least some kind of rule or influence over His Israelite people because they have fallen away from Him.

As King Solomon wrote: “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” (Eccle 1:9)

Another way in which the descendants of Israel have become the tail and not the head is in the entertainment industry. In the movie industry, racial bias has become more and more obvious since the 1960s. In the 1960s, most movies did not have an obvious racial bias. In other words, the good were both white and black, and the bad were both white and black. But that has certainly changed. Today, most major Hollywood movies are racially biased, and always against white males.

Yet another way in which the descendants of Israel have become the tail and not the head because they have fallen away from the God of Israel is in Britain, where the present Labour Government has passed so-called ‘Two Tier Laws’, in which white British males are, according to the law of Britain, required to be punished harder than anyone else. In real life, this means that the British government releases Muslim gang rapists from prisons in order to make space for indigenous Brits who have written comments on Social Medias.

The British Two Tier regime is, in other words, a de facto Apartheid regime. In South Africa, Apartheid meant a system of two legal systems for various ethnic groups. In the South African context, it meant one law for white South Africans, and another law for non-white South Africans (Blacks, Indians, the so-called Coloureds, etc.). In Britain, the Two Tier judicial system means one law for white indigenous British males, and another law for settler colonialists with a darker complexion. One law for us, and another law for them.

The Apartheid/Two Tier legal systems of South Africa and Britain are similar in that the indigenous population has been deprived of the rights that the settler colonialists from other parts of the world enjoy. They are essentially mirrored images of each other, because in South Africa the settler colonialists were white Europeans and the conquered people had colored skin, while in Britain the settler colonialists have colored skin and the conquered native population are white. Apartheid in South Africa was, of course, much more severe than Britain’s Two Tier system, but still the similarity is there.

One way of looking upon Britain’s Two Tier system is that it a set of unfair laws against the native British population. Another way of looking at it is that it is actually the God of Israel who has permitted these oppressive laws to be put upon the shoulders of the British people because they have forsaken Christ. Both views are equally true.

Conclusion

This also goes to show that the root cause of the problems associated with Islam and mass immigration is that the people of the Western world have fallen away from Christ. That is why God has permitted tens of millions of Muslims and other pagan immigrants to come into the former Christian Western world and have influence over the native people of the West.

This also goes to show that the solution to the problems associated with Islam and mass immigration into the Western world is not simply to be against Islam or against Muslim immigration. No, solution to all the problems associated with Islam and mass immigration is that the peoples of the Western world repent and start to follow the Lord Jesus Christ again with a perfect heart. Simply being against Islam and immigration is like putting a bandage on a cancerous wound. It will treat the symptom, but not the cause of the disease. And the disease is that we have fallen away from Christ. The cure for our problems is therefore that we as individuals and nation repent and return to following the Lord Jesus Christ.
